Samsung had launched a special variant of the Galaxy S8+ with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage in Korea last week. This variant is priced at $1,018 and comes with a bundled DeX station, but it is currently limited to the company's home market. However, it is being reported that the company could bring this variant to other markets.
A report from Yonhap News says that Samsung is open to launching the 6GB RAM variant of the Galaxy S8+ in markets outside of Korea, depending on local market demand. We would like to believe that Samsung will launch it in China since there's demand for smartphones with higher memory. Whether or not Samsung brings this variant to the US or other European markets remains to be seen.
If Samsung launches it in your country, would you buy the 6GB RAM variant of the Galaxy S8+ even if it is $200 costlier than the regular variant? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
