Samsung is expected to launch the new Galaxy J series in the coming months. It has been over a year since the Galaxy J (2016) series was released so it's about time that Samsung followed up with the new lineup. Previous reports suggested that only the Galaxy J5 (2017) and Galaxy J7 (2017) will be released in the Netherlands but that may not be the case.
According to a new report, the Galaxy J3 (2017) is also going to be launched in the Netherlands, meaning that the entire new Galaxy J series will be available for purchase in the country. This means that it's also likely for all three handsets to be released in most markets in Europe.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Galaxy J3 (2017) is believed to feature a 5-inch 720p display, an Exynos 7570 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB of Nougat. Additional specs may include a 12-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera as well as a 2,400mAh battery. Like the other handsets in the refreshed series, it will run Android 7.0 Nougat.
None of this has been officially confirmed by Samsung as yet. The company hasn't said anything about when the new Galaxy J series is going to be launched so far.
