British carrier EE has announced that it'll exclusively release an Arctic Silver color variant of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ later this month, with pre-orders scheduled to commence on Friday, June 23.
To encourage customers to reserve a handset, EE has also revealed that they will be available on its 4GEE Max plans, which enables customers to use their phone like normal in more than 50 destinations worldwide.
- Galaxy S8 – £9.99 upfront cost, £57.99/month for unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 25GB of data on a 24 month plan
- Galaxy S8+ – £49.99 upfront cost, £57.99/month for unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 25GB of data on a 24 month plan
“We’re delighted to be partnering with EE to exclusively offer their customers the new Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ in Artic Silver,” said Connor Pierce, Samsung Vice President, IT & Mobile.”
“The Artic Silver edition has a modern and understated look and perfectly complements the Infinity Display screen. I hope EE customers like it as much as we [Samsung] do.”
Other than a fresh coat of paint, the Arctic Silver models of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are the same as the other models, meaning they'll pack an identical punch in terms of power.
