Samsung has released an update for the Galaxy S7 (SM-G930W) and Galaxy S7 edge (SM-G935W) in Canada. The upgrade bundles all of the changes included in this month's security maintenance release, which includes 96 fixes for Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) in the Android operating system, and 23 additional patches designed specifically for Galaxy-branded smartphones.

As you'd expect, the upgrade is making the rounds in stages. If you'd like to check to see if it's ready for your handset, open up Settings, then select the relevant option from the Software Update subheading. Alternatively, you can wait until you receive a notification prompting you to install the update, though it may take a little longer to appear than manually scanning.
