One of South Korea's largest mobile carriers, SK Telecom, will exclusively be selling the Galaxy A7 (2017). Customers in the country can pre-order it from the carrier starting today for 588,500 won or $510. It's being offered in Black Sky, Gold Sand and Peach Cloud colors.
The Galaxy A7 (2017) features a 5.7-inch Full HD display with a Samsung Exynos 7880 processor under the hood coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
The handset also features a 16-megapixel rear and 16-megapixel front camera. Additional features include IP68 certification for dust and water resistance, a fingerprint sensor as well as a 3,600mAh battery. It also has support for Samsung Pay.
This variant of the Galaxy A7 (2017) is slightly different from the one that has been out for a few months now. It comes with Bixby Home, a new service that Samsung launched earlier this year which surfaces relevant and contextual information in a card-based layout.
It doesn't have Bixby proper so there's no support for the assistant's voice functionality. Consequently, this variant of the Galaxy A7 (2017) doesn't have a separate hardware button for Bixby.
Customers in South Korea can place a pre-order for the Galaxy A7 (2017) starting today at T World Direct or at any of SK Telecom's authorized agents across the country.
