Earlier this week, we reported that Samsung released an update for the beta version of its Internet application, but it would appear we missed something. According to Peter O'Shaughnessy, Developer Advocate at Samsung, V6.2 of the Internet Beta client opens up compatibility for non-Galaxy smartphones.
The upgrade is being rolled out in phases and is available on any device running Android 5.0+ through the Play Store. It's worth mentioning, however, that as it isn't a stable release, you may notice a number of bugs. We've already found a couple in the recently-introduced Night Mode feature, for example.

In case you missed our initial coverage, V6.2 brings a number of new features to the table, including the option to synchronize bookmarks with the Chrome desktop extension and simplified access to content blockers. There are also a number of new experimental tools, like WebVR and GamePad Extensions.
