Samsung's carrier partners will start taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 8 from tomorrow, August 24. Verizon, the largest mobile carrier in the United States, has confirmed that its customers can take advantage of a deal which will get them up to 50 percent off if they trade-in an existing device.
Verizon customers can pre-order the handset starting tomorrow in Midnight Black and Orchid Grey colors. The carrier is charging $40 per month for 24 months on its device payment plan. Customers can purchase the handset at the full retail price of $960 as well.
Customers can trade-in an eligible device and get up to 50 percent off the handset's price. The trade-in credit will be applied over 24 months and will end when the balance is paid or the line is terminated.
Verizon is also offering customers who purchase a Galaxy Note 8 $100 off the Gear S3 with a new two-year activation so the smartwatch will cost them $249.99 after discount. Customers might want to wait until next week because that's when Samsung is going to launch its brand new Gear smartwatch.
Samsung has confirmed that it's going to release the Galaxy Note 8 globally on September 15. Verizon customers who place a pre-order for the new flagship will get it then.
