After rolling out the Nougat update to the Galaxy A7 (2017) yesterday in India, Samsung has done the same for the Galaxy A5 (2017) earlier today. The phone was launched earlier this year with Android 6.0 onboard.
The update, which is rolling out in India for the Galaxy A5 (2017), has a file size of 1385.98MB and firmware version A520FXXUBQI5. It's an OTA update that brings Android 7.0 to the smartphone along with a new user interface design and user experience as well as features like Dual Messenger and Samsung Pass.
The Nougat update also brings improvements to Always On Display, multi-window, notifications, and quick setting toggles. As always, the update brings bug fixes and stability improvements to the smartphone. If you're from India, have you received this update on your Galaxy A5 (2017)?
