Just like the Galaxy S8, the Galaxy Note 8 has on-screen home, recent and back keys. Removing the physical keys was necessary to free up space for the gorgeous Infinity Display. How to change navigation bar color on Galaxy Note 8
Step 1: Launch the Settings app and tap on Display.
Step 2: Tap on Navigation bar to bring up the relevant options.
Step 3: Choose from the range of background colors available.
It's as simple as that. Do bear in mind that the background color you select may not be applied to all apps but you'll see it more often than not.
The process is similar for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ as well so you can try it out on those handsets as well.
