The Galaxy A3 (2016) has now joined the list of devices that have received the October security patch. The Galaxy A5 (2016) and (2017) were the first handsets to receive the patch after it was detailed earlier this month. Samsung is now finally rolling out the Galaxy A3 (2016) October security patch now.
The handset will be bumped up from the August security patch. That's because Samsung was too busy patching the Blueborne vulnerability so September's patch just got lost in the way. Devices that have recently received this patch include the Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S6 edge.
