Samsung's new wearable devices will go on sale in its home country of South Korea tomorrow. Samsung confirmed today that the Gear Sport smartwatch and the Gear IconX 2018 earbuds will be available for purchase in the country starting Friday, October 27.
Samsung unveiled its new smartwatch and activity earbuds at the IFA 2017 convention almost two months ago. The company recently confirmed the pricing and availability details of these new products for customers in the United States.
Gear Sport and Gear IconX 2018
The company's new smartwatch offers military-grade durability and features like swim tracking, real-time heart rate monitoring and Spotify's offline mode. It features a 1.2-inch circular Super AMOLED display.
Customers in South Korea will be able to purchase the Gear Sport starting tomorrow for 299,200 won or $265. It's available in Blue and Black colors with a variety of custom watch bands.
The Gear IconX 2018 earbuds are slightly improved compared to their predecessor. There's 4GB of internal storage and up to 7 hours of music playback thanks to the 82mAh battery. The fast-charging feature provides an hour's worth of music playback after just 10 minutes of charging. The earbuds are also capable of launching Bixby.
