Samsung is gradually updating some of its apps with support for Android 8.0. It's a big indication that the Galaxy S8 Android 8.0 Oreo beta program is going to be launched soon. The company has now updated its Samsung Connect app with support for the next major firmware update.

The Samsung Connect app enables users to control smart devices and appliances from their phone even when they're not at home. They can accomplish tasks like scheduling the washing machine's cycle, turning up the music and turning on the lights from their phone.
