The second Galaxy S8 Android 8.0 beta firmware brings the October security patch. It also improves stability of the DeX mode and the Launcher.

Beta participants will also find new clock styles for the Always On Display and the lock screen. They can also adjust the transparency of notifications. The handset's screen can now go dark when it's mirroring between the phone and TV using Smart View.

Samsung hasn't confirmed as yet when it's going to expand the beta to additional markets. Reports have suggested that it might go live in countries like India.
