    Global Galaxy Note 9 firmware now available for download on SamMobile

    Today's the big day for the Galaxy Note 9. Samsung's latest, best, and most pricey flagship goes on sale in 56 markets around the world today, with availability to expand to over 130 countries in the coming days. Many of you will have already received your Galaxy Note 9 pre-order ahead of launch, but many of you are likely going to buy one at your local store today or in the days to come. And, just in time for the retail release, Galaxy Note 9 firmware for markets around the world are now available in our firmware database.

    Galaxy Note 9 firmware for many more markets now on SamMobile

    Every Galaxy Note 9 needs to be updated to the first final version of the software after it's set up, as the phone comes with pre-release software out of the box. This update includes the August 2018 security patch; the Android version is 8.1 Oreo. You will be able to download this update over the air, but if not, you can download the firmware for your country from our database and install it by means of a personal computer. As usual, every new update that the device receives will be available as a complete firmware here on SamMobile.
