Samsung will be holding an exclusive Fortnite event for the Galaxy S10 owners at Samsung 837 in New York City on March 16, 2019. The event will celebrate the arrival of the new iKONIC skin and the Scenario emote. The new items, exclusive for the Galaxy S10, S10e, and S10+ owners, will become available on March 8, 2019. Popular Fortnite streamer Ninja will join K-Pop sensations iKON “for a one-of-a-kind Fortnite x Galaxy gaming experience.”

Bludrive is designing a Fortnite Creative Island for the event

Ninja recently announced on his stream that he’d be playing on “a brand new map, literally built for this event.” However, it turns out the “new map” is actually not a map at all. In the wake of Ninja’s comments, Samsung US tweeted to clarify that the event will feature a new Fortnite Creative Island, rather than a whole new location. Bludrive is designing the new Creative Island for the event.

As for the new iKONIK skin, it will be exclusive to the customers who pre-order the Galaxy S10. The emote, meanwhile, doesn't require a pre-order. It will be available to everyone who purchase the new Samsung flagships. If you're interested, then you can register here for a chance to attend the event. For those who can't make it to the event, you can watch it on Twitch.
