Samsung surprised many people who didn't follow the leaks with the unexpected release of the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition last week. The phone went on sale in Korea on October 25, and as you may have already found out, it sold out over the weekend.
Aside from an attractive wider form factor, a thinner profile, an upgraded camera, a unique design, and a less visible foldable display crease, the Special Edition Fold from Samsung had one final trick up its sleeve. It sold with a wall charger.

As you're likely aware, modern smartphones no longer ship with wall chargers included in the box in most markets. This is to meet regulations and limit the amount of waste generated by new smartphone purchases.
Even in Korea, the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6, for example, does not ship with a wall charger but only a USB-C cable. Surprisingly enough, though, Samsung appears to have made an exception for the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition.

Needless to say, the Special Edition phone received special treatment in Kore, as the phone ships with more items in the box than the standard variant. Those who were fast enough to buy the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition while it was still in stock received a USB-C cable, a leather case, a SIM tool, and, last but not least, a 25W wall charger.
All this — and everything else the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition does differently — costs around $300 more than the standard 512GB Galaxy Z Fold 6.
