Pre-orders for Samsung's latest phablet, the Galaxy Note 10, have topped 1.3 million units in South Korea. The numbers account for orders placed between August 9 and August 19 through the country's three mobile carriers. The number of pre-orders for the Note 10 duo is more than twice that of the Galaxy Note 9, Korea Herald reports. Samsung is selling only the 5G variants of the Galaxy Note 10 in South Korea.

The 256GB Aura Glow variant of the Galaxy Note 10+ was the most popular model during the 11-days pre-order period. The device is priced at 1.4 million won (~$1,160) in the country. The 256GB Galaxy Note 10 5G costs 1.2 million won (~$992), while the 512GB variant of the Note 10+ 5G is priced at 1.5 million won (~$1,240).

Samsung has begun shipping the pre-ordered units of the devices in South Korea. The smartphones will officially hit local stores on August 23. South Korean mobile carriers are offering benefits of up to 450,000 won (~$372) with the new phones. Added freebies include a Galaxy Fit, a wireless charging pad, Clear View cover, and more.
