Samsung launched the Galaxy M30s in India today and took the chance to quickly unveil the Galaxy M10s as well. The Galaxy M10s brings a handful of upgrades over the Galaxy M10 and could even be considered a cheaper Galaxy M20 going by the spec sheet. It's priced at Rs. 8,999 (~$130) and will go on sale from September 29 from Amazon India and Samsung's official store in Stone Blue and Piano Black color options.

The Galaxy M10s has a 6.4-inch HD+ Infinity-V Super AMOLED display upfront with a waterdrop notch and is powered by the Exynos 7884B chipset. The M10 had the Exynos 7870 SoC, which was focused solely on efficiency, making the M10s' Exynos 7884B with its two high-performance Cortex-A73 cores a notable upgrade. The M10s has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage with a microSD slot for expansion – no other memory configuration will be offered.

The Galaxy M10s also gets a larger battery. It has a 4,000 mAh battery and comes with support for 15W fast charging. At the back of the phone, there's a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera with 120-degree field of view, same as the Galaxy M10. The front camera, meanwhile, has been upgraded to an 8-megapixel sensor from the M10's 5MP sensor. The phone also gets a rear-facing fingerprint sensor and runs Android Pie with One UI out of the box.
