Samsung has released a new Android 10 beta update for the Galaxy Note 10/10+ users in India. This is the fifth beta update overall and comes just five days after the company released the previous update. Given how quickly Samsung is pushing out new beta updates for the Note 10, the rollout of the stable version may not be that far. There was a similar uptick in updates towards the end of the Android 10 beta program for the Galaxy S10.
The new Note 10 update, which carries the version number N97**XXU1ZSL7 and weighs just 146 MB, is all about bug fixes, as one would expect towards the end of a beta program. As per Samsung’s official communication, the Galaxy Note 10 lineup is scheduled to get the stable version of Android 10 with One UI 2.0 in January next year. However, as we have seen with the Galaxy S10 rollout, the update may arrive earlier than that since the company tends to be conservative in its estimates.
If you were on the fence about joining the beta program, now might be a good time to enroll and get the update before others. Samsung has already fixed most of the bugs, making the latest Android 10 build more than qualified to be a daily driver. Interested Note 10 customers can enroll in the One UI 2.0 beta program (if the registrations are still open in your region) in the Samsung members app. If you are already a beta tester, you can go to Settings » Software update » Download and install to get the latest release.
