Samsung's upcoming truly wireless earphones have been leaked in their entirety. Their features, images, specifications, and pricing have been known for weeks prior to the official unveiling. They even went through hands-on treatment yesterday. Earlier today, the Galaxy Buds+ were even available for pre-order via Amazon.
Three color variants—black, blue, and white—of the Galaxy Buds+ were listed on Amazon.com in the US, and the listing price was $149.99, as leaked earlier. Samsung actually calls the blue version of the earphones ‘Cloud Blue'. The shipping date for the wireless earphones was mentioned as February 14, which is just three days after the official announcement. The pre-order listings were taken down later.
As usual, all the important features of the Galaxy Buds+ were explained on the pre-order webpages. The second-generation Galaxy Buds feature dual drivers (tweeter and woofer) for improved music quality and three microphones on each side for clearer calls. The earbuds last 11 hours on a single charge, while the case can charge the buds one more time. They lack active noise cancellation, though.
The Galaxy Buds+ feature Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, multi-device connections, customizable touch gestures, Spotify integration, Game Mode, a USB Type-C port on the case, and Qi wireless charging. They are IPX2 rated for sweat resistance and come in a red color variant as well. The South Korean electronics giant has also released an iOS companion app for its upcoming earphones.
The Galaxy Buds+ is expected to be unveiled officially alongside the Galaxy S20 series and the Galaxy Z Flip tomorrow during the Unpacked 2020 event in San Francisco.
