Various Samsung smartphones receive Netflix’s HDR10 certification

Smartphones and tablets are increasingly being used to consume movies and TV shows, and Netflix is one of the most popular video streaming services in the world. Now, various smartphones from Samsung have received the official HDR10 certification from Netflix. Dozens of Galaxy smartphones and tablets have also received the HD certification.

The recently launched Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20 Ultra, and the Galaxy Z Flip are among the phones that have received Netflix's HD and HDR10 video streaming and playback certification. Here's a list of all the smartphones that have been newly included in the HD and HDR10 compatibility lists by the video streaming giant:

  3. Galaxy S20 Ultra
  4. Galaxy S20 5G
  5. Galaxy S20+ 5G
  6. Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G

The Samsung smartphones that have freshly received the HD streaming certification from Netflix include the following:

  4. Galaxy A60
  5. Galaxy A70
  6. Galaxy A80
  7. Galaxy M40
  8. Galaxy A30s
  9. Galaxy A50s
  10. Galaxy A70s

  12. Galaxy A51
  13. Galaxy A71
  14. Galaxy M21
  15. Galaxy M31
  16. Galaxy Note 10 Lite
  17. Galaxy XCover 4s

The HD video streaming certification from Netflix has also been awarded to a few tablets from Samsung, and here's the complete list of those tablets:

  2. Galaxy Tab A 8.0
  3. Galaxy Tab A With S Pen
  4. Galaxy Tab Active Pro
  5. Galaxy Tab S5e
  6. Galaxy Tab S6 Lite

Note that the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is yet to be officially unveiled by Samsung, and its design was leaked last week. The tablet recently passed through the Bluetooth certification process, and we expect it to be announced soon.
