The Exynos-powered Galaxy S20 series is getting its second post-launch firmware update as we speak, version G98xxXXU1ATCH. It's not yet available over-the-air (OTA) but Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra owners around the world can download and install the new firmware via Smart Switch or from our archive.

You may be eager to learn what changes have been introduced and whether the new firmware addresses any of the issues that have been rumored to be tackled by Samsung next. Well, the biggest change seems to consist of a Camera app update, pushing it to version 10.0.01.98 on all three Galaxy S20 models.

The good news continues, as one of the biggest user complaints surrounding the Galaxy S20 series' camera performance may have just been addressed with this new update, namely slow autofocus. The camera seemingly benefits from faster autofocus post-update, so if you've experienced such issues before then your wait for a fix might be over.

For now, the new firmware update is available only for the International Exynos-powered Galaxy S20 models, but there is no doubt that Samsung will want to bring the same improvements to the Snapdragon variants as quickly as possible.

Once again, the firmware update is not rolling OTA as of this writing, but you can refer to your archive and download it manually. Once it will roll-out OTA, you'll also be able to install it by opening the Settings app on your phone, accessing the Software update menu and tapping the Download and install option.
