Samsung has unveiled various Galaxy A-series smartphones over the past few months, and the company now seems ready to bring them to the Philippines. It is being reported that the South Korean smartphone giant is preparing for the launch of the Galaxy A11, Galaxy A21s, Galaxy A31, and the Galaxy A51 to the Philippines within a span of three weeks.
The Galaxy A31 and the Galaxy A51 could be launched in the Philippines on June 26, and the phones could cost PHP 14,990 and PHP 17,990, respectively. The Galaxy A11 and the Galaxy A21s could launch on July 10. They could be priced at PHP 7,490 and PHP 11,990. These phones will be available under home credit plans and could be purchased through Samsung Experience Stores and authorized dealers across the country.
Although the Galaxy A51 is already available in the country through Globe's postpaid plans, it's better to wait for the launch of the unlocked variant, which will come in launch bundles. Samsung will offer a 2-month subscription to YouTube Premium or a JBL Go 2 Bluetooth speaker, depending on the launch bundle you choose. These offers will reportedly be available until July 5.
Galaxy A11, Galaxy A21s specs
The Galaxy A11 features a 6.4-inch HD+ TFT display, an 8MP selfie camera, and a 13MP+5MP+2MP triple-camera setup at the rear. It runs Android 10 (with One UI 2) with the help of a 1.8GHz octa-core processor, 2GB/3GB RAM, and 32GB storage. There's a microSD card slot, dual-SIM card slot, GPS, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, a USB Type-C port, and a headphone jack. The phone is powered by a 4,000mAh battery.
The Galaxy A21s sports a 6.5-inch HD+ TFT screen, a 13MP selfie camera, and a rear-facing camera setup consisting of four cameras (48MP wide-angle, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth). The phone uses the Exynos 850 SoC, 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage, and a 5,000mAh battery. There's a microSD card slot, dual-SIM card slot, GPS, LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a headphone jack.
Galaxy A31, Galaxy A51 specs
The Galaxy A31 and the Galaxy A51 use 6.4-inch and 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ screens, respectively, and they both run Android 10 with One UI 2. The Galaxy A31 20MP selfie camera, while the Galaxy A51 has a 32MP selfie camera. They both have quad-camera setups consisting of 48MP primary sensors, 5MP macro cameras, and 5MP depth sensors, but only the Galaxy A51 can record 4K videos. Both phones have in-display fingerprint readers.
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy A31 with a MediaTek Helio P65 SoC, while the Galaxy A51 uses the Exynos 9611 SoC. The Galaxy A51 has 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage, while the Galaxy A51 has 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM, 64GB/128GB UFS 2.0 internal storage. Both phones have microSD card slots, dual-SIM card slots, LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a headphone jack.
The 5,000mAh battery powers the Galaxy A31, while the Galaxy A51 is powered by a 4,000mAh battery. Both phones support 15W fast charging.
