The Galaxy Z Flip 5G is now available for purchase in the United States following a brief pre-order period. Arguably the most attractive stateside deal comes from Samsung itself, with the company offering the the Galaxy Z Flip 5G for as “little” as $799. Granted, that's assuming you take full advantage of its resident trade-in program, which means giving up another costly device in exchange. Otherwise, the regular starting point for the 5G version of the Galaxy Z Flip is $1,499.
As Samsung still has quite a few massive distribution partners to keep happy, you can actually get the Galaxy Z Flip 5G at a slightly lower rate from a carrier of your choice or even Best Buy. Speaking of which, Best Buy is actually citing the lowest day-one price at $1,399.
Verizon still missing out on foldable 5G – kind of
Meanwhile, T-Mobile and AT&T have the Galaxy Z Flip 5G listed at $1,449. Of course, paying for a smartphone upfront defeats one the main advantages of purchasing it from a wireless carrier in the first place and true enough, both carriers are offerring a variety of plans to go alongside this curious-looking device. Meaning you should be able to take full advantage of Verizon's next-gen network even with an unlocked Galaxy Z Flip 5G.
