Samsung kicked off the festive season in South Africa by bringing back the Buy & Get promotion, giving customers a unique chance to receive store vouchers worth up to 10,000 Rand ($637) upon the purchase of select products from Samsung's online store. If you've been waiting for an opportunity to earn rewards when buying a foldable phone, the latest Samsung wearable, a flagship smartphone / tablet, a smart TV or a home appliance then the Buy & Get promotion might be exactly what you've been waiting for.

Samsung offers up to 10,000 Rand in online store vouchers but ‘up to' is the keyword here. Customers will receive a 10,000 Rand voucher only on select products such as the company's French Door refrigerator series and specific Q800T and Q900R TV models. As far as mobile products go, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy Z Flip are eligible for 5,000 Rand ($318) store vouchers, while the Galaxy Note 20 guarantees a 1,000 Rand ($63) voucher. The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S7 series, and the Galaxy Watch 3 are also eligible.

Oddly enough, Samsung's official announcement on the matter makes no mention of the fact that one specific item on the list is eligible for a store voucher worth a whopping 50,000 Rand ($3,186). It only applies to the 98-inch Q900R QLED 8K smart TV; then again, the TV's usual retail price matches that of a sports car so a $3,186 discount isn't as impressive if you take that into account.

Refer to the official terms and conditions webpage for the full list of products that are eligible for the Buy & Get promotion in South Africa and feel free to let us know in the comment section if you plan on taking advantage of these deals.
