As usual, Samsung's been doing a great job at bringing the latest security patches to its mobile products in a timely manner and the November 2020 security update is now reaching another device, namely the Galaxy Note 9 (SM-N960F) in Europe. The latest update is identified by firmware version N960FXXU6FTK1 and, as of this writing, availability is limited to Germany.

The November 2020 security patch was detailed by Samsung at the beginning of the month, roughly one week after the update debuted on the Galaxy Z Fold 2. The patch addresses 5 Android OS critical vulnerabilities, 29 high threats, and 31 moderate threats. It also fixes an Exynos 990 issue, though obviously, this fix doesn't pertain to the Exynos 9810-powered Galaxy Note 9.

The new firmware update doesn't seem to include any additional features aside from the security patch but that's to be expected four weeks after the highly anticipated One UI 2.5 update arrived on the Galaxy Note 9. Readers who own the Galaxy Note 9 in Germany should be able to download the new firmware update and security patch by opening Settings on their phones, accessing Software update, and tapping Download and install.

As always, SamMobile offers an alternative method of acquiring new Samsung firmware updates for your mobile devices. You can download firmware version N960FXXU6FTK1 for your Galaxy Note 9 from our firmware archive and install it on your S Pen smartphone using a Windows PC.
