Samsung is offering the biggest discount on the Galaxy Z Fold 2 yet. Customers can now buy the Galaxy Z Fold 2 from Samsung USA for up to 50% off, as long as they're willing to trade in another eligible device. With this latest discount, customers can effectively acquire the Galaxy Z Fold 2 for as low as $999 – the price of a base Galaxy Note 20 model. Meanwhile, Samsung has also increased the trade-in value for devices with cracked screens at up to $650.
There is a catch to this massive $1000 trade-in discount, however, because it only applies to previous foldable devices such as the original Galaxy Fold, the Galaxy Z Flip, and the Galaxy Z Flip Thom Browne Edition. In other words, you can benefit from this $1,000 discount only if you're an existing foldable owner and you'd like to upgrade to the latest and greatest model.
Samsung also improved Galaxy S20 and iPhone trade-in values
The good news is that Samsung is offering a higher-than-usual trade-in value for other smartphone models as well, namely the Galaxy S20 ($650 trade-in value), the Galaxy S20+ ($700), and the Galaxy S20 Ultra ($750). Meanwhile, trading in an Apple device like the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will lower the Galaxy Z Fold 2 price by $700 and $800, respectively.
This is a limited-time deal and it applies to the unlocked as well as the carrier variants. Customers are also allowed to personalize the color of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 hinge without affecting trade-in prices. And yes, the offer applies to both the Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze color options. Refer to the links below for more details.
