Samsung has officially revealed its latest 2-in-1 notebook at Galaxy Unpacked earlier today. It's a spiritual successor to the Galaxy Book Flex, but it's planned to hit the shelves bearing the Galaxy Book Pro 360 moniker.
Samsung chose the ‘Thin like a phone' tag line to describe its latest 2-in-1 notebook in a nutshell. Indeed, the Galaxy Book Pro 360 measures just 11.5mm at the most, while the panel area is a lot thinner.
The only new Galaxy Book to offer S Pen support
As you would expect from a 2-in-1 laptop, Samsung's new Galaxy Book Pro 360 is equipped with a touchscreen and it can be used as a Windows 10-powered tablet. In addition, it's the only new Galaxy Book model to offer S Pen support. The accessory is included in the retail box along with a 65W USB-C wall charger.
The Galaxy Book Pro 360 comes in two sizes: 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch. They both have a Super AMOLED FHD display and offer a choice between Intel's 11th Gen Core i3 / i5 / i7 CPUs. The i3 models are coupled with Intel UHD Graphics, whereas the i5 and i7 variants feature Intel Iris Xe graphics.
Other specs include 8GB / 16GB / 32GB (15.6-inch) of LPDDR4x RAM, up to 1TB of NVMe SSD storage, a fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button, a Thunderbolt 4 port, 2x USB-C ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD card slot. The Galaxy Book Pro 360 boasts Sound by AKG and Dolby Atmos.
Samsung will sell the Galaxy Book Pro 360 in three color options: Mystic Navy, Mystic Silver, and Mystic Bronze. The base price is set at $1,199. The laptop will be available for purchase starting May 14.
