For the last decade, Samsung has launched a new flagship Galaxy Note phone every year, and for the longest time, the Galaxy Note smartphones were actually the best of what Samsung had to offer and build upon what made the preceding Galaxy S flagships so good. Last year, however, Samsung decided to take a different approach, with the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra both featuring lower-end specs compared to the Galaxy S20 trio.
And this year, there's not going to be a new Note at all, with the Galaxy Z Fold 3 expected to take over as the main flagship offering from the Korean giant in the second half of 2021. Galaxy Note fans have made their displeasure over this move quite clear, and, at the moment, all they can do is hope that Samsung will bring the series back in 2022. It's certainly something that is expected to happen, based on how Samsung worded its announcement that the Note lineup isn't dead and based on some recent rumors.
While we wait for proper confirmation, here's a question we thought we would ask our readers: Whenever the next Galaxy Note flagship arrives, what features would you like to see on it? A flat display? An under-display camera? New S Pen functions and capabilities? Huge batteries similar to what you have on the Galaxy S21 lineup? Or just some features Samsung stripped from recent flagships, like MST support on Samsung Pay and a microSD card? Something else?
