Samsung had unveiled the Galaxy A22 and the Galaxy A22 5G earlier this month. However, the two smartphones haven't been made available for purchase in a lot of markets. Ahead of its launch in India, the pricing and color variants of the Galaxy A22 (4G) have been leaked.

A marketing image of the Galaxy A22 meant for the Indian market was leaked by 91Mobiles. It appears that the smartphone will be priced in India at INR 18,499 for the variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Samsung might not launch the 4GB+64GB variant of the Galaxy A22 in India. The smartphone might be available in two colors: black and mint. The company will offer free home delivery, easy financing via Samsung Finance+, and premium care plans via Samsung Care+.

Galaxy A22 specs

The Galaxy A22 features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone uses a plastic body and a glass front. It has a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The Galaxy A22 is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. Other features include 4G, dual-SIM card slot, GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The mid-range smartphone features a 13MP front-facing camera. At the rear, it has a quad-camera setup, consisting of a 48MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. Video recording tops out at 1080p 30fps, which is a shame as all the smartphones from other brands in the price segment offer 4K video recording. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging.
