The Galaxy M21 isn't a new device but Samsung has decided to relaunch the device. Several reports have highlighted that the company is going to relaunch this device as the Galaxy M21 Prime Edition.
Its name leaves no doubt as to where this device will go on sale. The Galaxy M21 Prime Edition has been prepared for Amazon and it will soon be available for purchase.
Galaxy M21 Prime Edition will launch with Android 11
Amazon itself is confirming that much. The company has put up a teaser on its online store which includes a render of the device along with a cryptic “21-21-21” message. This suggests that the device itself will be launched on July 21. It will then be available for purchase as part of Samsung's Prime Day launch on July 26.
The Galaxy M21 Prime Edition will have the same specs as the standard Galaxy M21. This includes a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display, an Exynos 9611 processor with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The handset also features a 6,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging.
One big advantage that this device has is that it will come with Android 11 out of the box. This means that customers will get one additional Android OS upgrade in addition to an extra year of security updates.
Much like the Galaxy M31 Prime edition, this device may also have an Always On Amazon app accessible by a simple right swipe on the home screen. Customers can also expect a free trial of Amazon Prime for a couple of months. The Galaxy M21 Prime Edition will be sold exclusively through Amazon in India.
