Three weeks after launching the Galaxy A22 in India, Samsung has announced that it is also bringing the Galaxy A22 5G to the country. Earlier today, the South Korean firm confirmed that the Galaxy A22 5G will be launched in India on July 23, 2021. It will be Samsung's cheapest Galaxy A series 5G smartphone in the country.
Samsung has also claimed that its upcoming smartphone will have 11 5G bands. In comparison, most other Android smartphone OEMs are only offering two 5G bands in the country. The possible launch of the Galaxy A22 5G in the Indian market was first confirmed by a report last week. Four days ago, another report claimed that the smartphone will carry a starting price tag of INR 19,999 (around $270).
