Samsung has released the Android 13 update to one more Galaxy smartphone in the US. The carrier-unlocked version of the Galaxy A23 5G has started getting the latest version of Android with a new software update.
The Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for the Galaxy A23 5G is rolling out to the carrier-unlocked version in the US. It comes with firmware version A236U1UEU1BVL1 and brings One UI 5.0 to the smartphone. It also includes the November 2022 security patch instead of the December 2022 patch.
The update is rolling out on almost all carrier networks, including AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Cellular South, Cricket, Comcast, C-Spire, and US Cellular.
If you are a US-based Galaxy A23 5G user with a carrier-unlocked version, you can check for the Android 13 update by heading to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also choose to download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
The Galaxy A23 5G was launched a few months ago with Android 12 onboard. Now, Samsung has released the first major Android OS update to the mid-range smartphone. It is eligible to get two more Android OS updates in the future.
