Two more Galaxy A series smartphones have started getting Samsung's latest security update. After the Galaxy A10s, Galaxy A21s, Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52s 5G, and the Galaxy A72, Samsung has started rolling out the September 2021 security update to the Galaxy A30s and the Galaxy A50.
The Galaxy A30s is getting the new software update with firmware version A307GUBU4CUH6 in Argentina. The Galaxy A50 is getting a new update with firmware version A505GUBS9CUH2 in Panama and Trinidad and Tobago. These new updates bring the September 2021 security patch that fixes more than 50 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities. They might also include device stability improvements.
If you are a Galaxy A30s user in Argentina or a Galaxy A50 user in Panama or Trinidad and Tobago, you might have received a notification of the new update for your smartphone already. If you haven't received the update yet, you can check for it manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung had launched the Galaxy A30s in late 2019 with Android 9 Pie-based One UI. and the Galaxy A50 in early 2019 with Android 9 Pie. Both smartphones received the Android 10-based One UI 2 update last year and the Android 11-based One UI 3 update this year.
