Galaxy A51 5G and Galaxy Tab S7 getting September 2021 security update in Korea

Earlier today, Samsung released the latest security patch to the carrier-locked variants of the Galaxy S10 series smartphones. The company has now released the security patch to the Galaxy A51 5G and the Galaxy Tab S7 series in its home country.

The Galaxy A51 5G is getting a new software update with firmware version A516NKSU4CUH2 in South Korea. The Galaxy Tab S7 series is getting a new update as well, and it comes with firmware version T97xxKOU2BUI1. These new updates include the September 2021 security patch that fixes more than 50 user privacy and data security vulnerabilities.

If you are a Galaxy A51 5G or Galaxy Tab S7 series user in South Korea, you might have received a notification of the new update. However, if you haven't received it yet, you can check for the update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file for your device from our database and flash it manually.

The Galaxy A51 5G was launched in Q2 2020, while the Galaxy Tab S7 series was introduced in Q3 2020. They were running Android 10 out of the box and have received the Android 11 a few months ago.
