One week after releasing the October 2021 security update to the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10+, Samsung has released it to the Galaxy Note 10 Lite as well. The smartphone, which was launched in January 2020, has been consistently getting security updates every month.
The Galaxy Note 10 Lite has started getting a new software update in France. It comes with firmware version N770FXXS8EUI4 and includes the October 2021 security patch. Samsung had revealed earlier this month that its latest security patch fixes more than 60 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities. The new software might also include general bug fixes and device stability improvements.
If you are a Galaxy Note 10 Lite user in France, you might have already received the notification of the update. If you haven't received the update yet, you can head to Settings » Software update on your smartphone and tap on Download and install to check for the update manually. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
Samsung could release this update to the Galaxy Note 10 Lite in more markets over the next few days. The smartphone debuted with Android 10-based One UI 2.0. It received the Android 11-based One UI 3 update earlier this year.
