The Galaxy Note 20 is now getting the January 2023 security patch in more markets aside from the USA. The update debuted stateside last week, and now it's making its way into Peru, Panama, Trinidad and Tobago, and Guatemala.
The update has firmware version N98xFXXS5GWA7. It only includes the January 2023 security patch, which Samsung addressed earlier this month.
The January patch changelog mentioned over 50 Android OS vulnerabilities labeled “High.” It also contained a handful of fixes for Samsung's own software and patched some issues concerning NFC, Secure Folder, and Samsung Knox, among other things.
Samsung will probably soon release the January 2023 security update for the Galaxy Note 20 series in other regions. If you happen to own Samsung's last Note model in the lineup, you should keep an eye open for update notifications. They may arrive at any moment.
