Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S23 series (pre-reserve now) and the Galaxy Book 3 lineup tomorrow during the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event. Over the past few weeks, the design and specifications of the Galaxy Book 3 Pro and the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra have leaked. Today, the images and specs of the vanilla Galaxy Book 3 were revealed.
Tipster SnoppyTech has published multiple high-resolution images of the Galaxy Book 3, along with its specifications. The Galaxy Book 3 reportedly features a 15.6-inch Full HD display. However, it isn't known if it uses an LCD panel or an OLED. The laptop comes equipped with an Intel 13th Gen Core i5/i7 processor, depending on the variant. It also features two USB Type-C (probably Thunderbolt 4) ports, a full-sized HDMI port, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone+microphone jack.
The Galaxy Book 3 is reportedly 15.4mm thin and weighs just 1.56kg. It has an additional SSD slot that can be used for storage expansion. It probably comes with at least 256GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD and 8GB LPDDR5 RAM. Higher-end variants of the Galaxy Book 3 may be available with higher RAM and storage capacities.
Since there doesn't appear to be a conventional cylindrical-shaped charging port, we expect the Galaxy Book 3 to come with a bundled 65W USB Type-C PD charger. Samsung will also unveil the Galaxy Book 3 360, Galaxy Book 3 Pro, Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360, and Galaxy Book 3 Ultra during the same event.
