Galaxy S23 to go on pre-order in South Korea tomorrow with amazing offers

Samsung is opening pre-orders for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra in South Korea tomorrow. The new smartphones will start shipping to buyers on February 17, 2023. All three Galaxy S23 series devices will be available in four colors: Cream, Green, Lavender, and Phantom Black.

Galaxy S23 pricing in South Korea

The Galaxy S23 is priced at KRW 1,155,000 (around $927) for the 256GB version and KRW 1,276,000 ($1,024) for the 512GB version. Samsung has priced the Galaxy S23+ at KRW 1,353,000 (around 1,086) for the 256GB version and KRW 1,474,000 (around $1,183) for the 512GB version. The Galaxy S23 Ultra costs KRW 1,599,400 (around $1,284) for the 256GB version and KRW 1,720,400 (around $1,381) for the 512GB variant. The 1TB version of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, available exclusively through Samsung.com, is priced at KRW 1,962,400 (around $1,575).

Samsung is also selling the Galaxy S23 Ultra in four additional colors—Graphite, Lime, Red, and Sky Blue—available only through Samsung.com. The Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ can be purchased in Graphite and Lime colors exclusively through Samsung's online store.

Galaxy S23 pre-order benefits in South Korea

Those who pre-order the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, or Galaxy S23 Ultra in South Korea can get their hands on their new purchase on February 14. Buyers pre-ordering the 256GB Galaxy S23 will get the 512GB version at no additional cost. Samsung is also bundling the SmartThings Station or the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro (with a free case) as a pre-order benefit for free. Buyers who pre-order the 1TB version of the Galaxy S23 Ultra will get the Galaxy Watch 5 44mm for free.

People in South Korea can pre-order Galaxy S23 series phones through Samsung.com, Samsung Digital Plaza, 11th Street, Coupang, or carrier stores. Starting February 7 at midnight, interested consumers can pre-order the Galaxy S23 through the Samsung Live event on Samsung.com, 11th Street, CJ OnStyle, and G Market.

Samsung also announced trade-in benefits of KRW 150,000 for those who are trading in their Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy Note 10, or Galaxy Note 20 series smartphone to buy the Galaxy S23 series. This trade-in benefit will be active for seven weeks. The South Korean firm has set up special Galaxy Studio areas at Samsung Digital Plaza Gangnam Main Store, Busan Main Store, and Lotte Hi-Mart World Tower Store, where people can experience the Galaxy S23 series by playing high-end games like Genshin Impact and using Galaxy ecosystem features.
