Samsung has just released an official introduction video for its SmartThings Station. Originally unveiled at CES 2023 in Las Vegas, SmartThings Station is a multipurpose smart home device that can double as a wireless charger for Galaxy smartphones and wearables. Samsung's new video goes into further detail regarding the Station's capabilities and the versatility of its one button.

SmartThings Station is a square-shaped smart home hub with wireless charging capabilities and a multifunctional button. It can be pressed or double-pressed for different commands, such as changing SmartThings scenes or controlling smart home appliances. And if you can't find your phone, the same button on SmartThings Station can be double-pressed to send a ringtone command to your mobile device, helping you find it easier.

Likewise, Samsung shows an example of how SmartThings Station can help you from forgetting other smart devices at home. If you have a Galaxy SmartTag attached to your keychain and leave the house without your keys, SmartThings Station can send an alert to your phone and notify you.

Furthermore, users can also associate scenes with wireless charging. So, for example, if you know that you'll use the wireless charging function at night, you can set SmartThings Station to turn on your Nighttime or Sleep scene automatically when you're charging your phone wirelessly.

Samsung offers the SmartThings Station in two color options and two different configurations. You can buy the Station without a travel adapter in black for $59.99, but the company also offers a Station + travel adapter bundle, in black or white, for $79.99. As of now, it doesn't look like the white color is available for the SmartThings Station if you don't buy it alongside a wall charger.

To put things into perspective, the Wireless Charger Trio that lacks SmartThings capabilities costs $89.99, although, to its advantage, it can wirelessly charge three devices simultaneously.
