The Galaxy S10 Lite appears to be getting its last major firmware update in Europe, or at least Spain. The One UI 5.1 update is rolling out for the Galaxy S10 Lite, and once the process concludes, the phone will only receive maintenance security patches moving forward.

Galaxy S10 Lite users in Europe, or at least Spain, can identify the update by firmware version G770FXXU6HWB4. The package includes the February 2023 security patch and weighs almost 1.2GB — although its size may differ by market. (via @momo____1999)

One UI 5.1 is a fantastic firmware update, and it's good to know that the Galaxy S10 Lite will end its firmware journey on a positive note. You can check out our One UI 5.1 hands-on video below for more details on what's new with this update, but do keep in mind that we used the Galaxy S23 as a test device, and some One UI 5.1 features may not be included in the One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy S10 Lite.

One UI 5.1 brings a handful of Camera and Gallery enhancements, including better search, image remastering, and the option for users to choose where to save screenshots and screen recordings. The Settings app also offers suggestions, and numerous Samsung apps have been updated to their latest versions with support for One UI 5.1.

Galaxy S10 Lite users should be able to download the One UI 5.1 update by accessing the Settings app, navigating to “Software update,” and tapping “Download and install.” Users who prefer manual updates can acquire the official firmware files from our website.
