Samsung's official announcement for the Galaxy A14, Galaxy A34 5G, and Galaxy A54 5G in Turkey briefly mentions the unreleased Galaxy A24. The company has just admitted that it wants to release the Galaxy A24 “in the coming months,” at least in Turkey.
Samsung didn't reveal any other details about the Galaxy A24, but some specifications and press renders appear to have surfaced through Gadgety. According to these new renders, the Galaxy A24 has a similar design as the A34 5G and A54 5G, featuring a flat display and back panel.
The Galaxy A24 should hit the shelves in a variety of rich colors, similar to the rest of the Galaxy A 2023 series. They include black, silver, lemon-green, and red-burgundy.
Galaxy A24 leaked specifications
The source behind these renders also claims to have obtained bits of information regarding the Galaxy A24's specifications — although many of these specifications were already known. The phone will supposedly have a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits of brightness.
This level of screen luminosity suggests that, like the A34 and A54, the Galaxy A24 benefits from Vision Booster technology. It not only makes the screen brighter but also maintains better color accuracy.
Furthermore, the Galaxy A24 could be powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC and 4GB of RAM. Storage should clock in at 128GB — expandable via microSD by up to 1TB — and the device should conceal a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging.
Lastly, the Galaxy A24 should feature a 13MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture and three rear-facing sensors, including a 50MP primary shooter with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and an f/1.8 aperture, a 5mP wide-angle shooter with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture.
Samsung may release the Galaxy A24 for around $285, but no availability and exact pricing details are known as of this writing.
