Samsung has released the latest software update to its four-year-old flagship tablet, the Galaxy Tab S6. The high-end tablet, released in early 2019, has started getting the March 2023 security update in European countries. The update can expand to other regions worldwide within the next few days.
The latest software update for the Galaxy Tab S6 comes with firmware version T865XXU5DWC3. It brings the March 2023 security update that fixes over 50 security vulnerabilities that were found in Galaxy smartphones and tablets. The update doesn't bring any new features, and the Galaxy Tab S6 is still stuck on Android 12-based One UI 4.1.1 software, which is its last major update.
If you are someone who's holding on to the Galaxy Tab S6 and living in Germany, you can install the new software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware version (matching the one mentioned above) from our firmware database and flash it manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S6 in early 2019, and back then, the South Korean firm used to launch only one high-end tablet model every year. As of late, the company has been releasing various models in its high-end tablet lineup. The Galaxy Tab S8 series has three models: Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.
