Yesterday, we exclusively brought you a mockup of the Galaxy Z Flip 5’s outer display, based on the information we received. The phone has a huge cover display, covering almost the entire front of the device. Well, official-looking images of the Vivo X Flip have been revealed today, and it will rival the Galaxy Z Flip 5 in terms of cover display size.
The leaked images show the Vivo X Flip’s outer display in utmost clarity, giving us an opportunity to compare it with the cover display of Samsung's upcoming foldable phone. The Vivo X Flip's cover screen is quite large, stretching all the way from the left to the right of the device, similar to that of the Galaxy Z Flip 5. The landscape-oriented display doesn’t seem to be as tall as the one on the Galaxy Z Flip 5. That means its overall size will be smaller than that of the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
Although the leak doesn’t mention the display size, it seems to be similar to the one on the Oppo Find N2 Flip, but in landscape orientation rather than portrait. Right above the display, there is a camera module with a single circular protrusion that houses two cameras. According to various reports, it has a 50MP primary camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera. The phone can be seen in purple, similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 4’s Bora Purple color.
If rumors are to be believed, the Vivo X Flip will feature a 6.8-inch inner foldable display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Other specifications of the device are still undercover. However, it won’t be long before we get to know them, and we can’t wait to see what the competition will have to offer against the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
