Samsung is now selling the Galaxy M14 5G in India. The Galaxy M14 5G was announced in the country recently and is a slightly modified and cheaper variant of the Galaxy A14 5G.
The Galaxy M14 5G can be purchased from Samsung's official website, Amazon, and select retail outlets starting today. Pricing is aggressive, as customary for Galaxy M series smartphones, for the specs on offer.
Galaxy M14 5G price in India starts at INR 13,490 (around $165)
The base variant, with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage, is priced at INR 13,490 (around $165), while the 6GB+128GB configuration can be purchased for INR 14,990 (around $183). Yes, both variants have 128GB of built-in storage, along with support for up to 1TB microSD cards.
But even more impressive is the 5nm Exynos 1330 chip. The Exynos 1330 has two performance-focused Cortex-A78 cores, six efficient Cortex-A55 cores, and a Mali-G68 MP2 GPU that, at least on paper, make the M14 5G one of the most powerful phones from Samsung in the sub-₹15,000 segment.
Battery life on the M14 5G should be excellent as well, thanks to the 6,000 mAh battery inside. The phone supports 25W fast charging as well, although you won't get any charger in the box and will need to purchase a 25W charger separately. The box doesn't come with earphones either, but the phone does have a 3.5mm headphone port, for those wondering.
Specs include 90Hz display, Exynos 1330 chipset, and 6,000 mAh battery
The Exynos 1330 and the 6,000 mAh battery power a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. For photos and videos, the Galaxy M14 5G features a 50MP main rear camera that sits above a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth camera, and a 13MP selfie camera, with support for Full HD video recording at 30 fps.
As the name suggests, the phone is 5G-enabled and supports 13 5G bands, so neither Airtel nor Jio users should have any issues. And finally, the M14 5G comes with Android 13 and One UI 5.1 out of the box. Features such as Samsung Wallet, Secure Folder, and Voice Focus (for clearer calls in noisy environments) are included, and the device is good for two major OS upgrades (the first of which will be One UI 6.0) and four years of security updates.
Color options for the Galaxy M14 5G are Berry Blue, Icy Silver, and Smoky Teal, all of which look pretty cool. We'll be reviewing the phone in the coming weeks, so stay tuned if you're interested in purchasing it.
