After the Galaxy Tab S8, another Samsung tablet has joined in on the fun and is now getting the May 2023 update. Fittingly, the Tab S8 took precedence, but the Galaxy Tab S7 series is now catching up with its newer siblings.
The Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ are now getting the May 2023 update in Europe, including Greece, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Germany, the UK, and Austria, with many more countries to follow soon.
The update carries firmware version Tx76BXXU3DWD3. The latter suggests this may be more than just a routine security release, but the May 2023 security patch is included. It fixes more than 70 security flaws affecting various facets, from Android OS to Exynos modems and more.
Other features may also be present, and there is a chance that the now-famous Image Clipper has been added to the Tab S7 series with this new release.
Where the May 2023 update is available for the Galaxy Tab S7 5G series, users can download the firmware by tapping the update notification once it arrives or by opening the Settings app on their tablets, accessing “Software update,” and tapping “Download and install.”
And as usual, users who prefer manual updates through a Windows PC can head over to the firmware section on our website and download the latest official Samsung firmware files.
