Galaxy A52 5G getting Maay 2023 security update in the US
The latest software update for the carrier-locked version of the Galaxy A52 5G comes with firmware version A526USQS8EWE2. The update is now available in the US on Metro PCS, Sprint, and T-Mobile networks. The unlocked version of the Galaxy A52 5G is getting the update in the US with firmware version A526U1UES8EWD3. It is a small security update and brings the May 2023 security patch. It fixes over 70 security vulnerabilities found in Galaxy phones. The update doesn't bring any new features or improvements over the previous software version.
If you have a Galaxy A52 5G and if you live in the US, you can now check for the new update. You can do that by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. Samsung launched the Galaxy A52 5G in early 2021 with Android 11 onboard. The phone received the Android 12 update in late 2021 and the Android 13 update in late 2022. It will get the Android 13 update later this year.
