Now, the latest security update has been released to the Galaxy S21 FE in the US, starting with the unlocked version of the device.
The latest software update for the unlocked version of the Galaxy S21 FE bumps up the phone's firmware version to G990U1UEU6EWDA in the US. The update brings the May 2023 security patch that fixes over 70 security flaws found in Galaxy phones and tablets. Some of those security flaws were marked critical, so it's better to install the update as soon as it is available on your phone.

Right now, the update is available on all the carrier networks in the US, including AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Cellular South, Comcast, Cricket, C-Spire, Dish Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile. If you have a Galaxy S21 FE's unlocked model, you can install the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install.
You can also choose to flash the firmware file manually.
