Samsung's Galaxy Watch 5 deal from a couple of weeks ago has concluded. But the company has another offer for prospective Galaxy Watch 5 Pro buyers, and for a limited time, they can save even more cash upon purchasing the wearable.
Although the standard Galaxy Watch 5 is not included in this new deal, Samsung is dropping a few more bucks off the Pro model compared to two weeks ago.
As of this writing, the Bluetooth/Wi-Fi-only Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is available at Samsung's online shop in the USA for $399 after a $50 discount. Alternatively, buyers can save $70 (up $10 from the last discount) on the LTE-enabled Galaxy Watch 5 Pro variant and spend $429 instead of $499.
These discounts don't have any strings attached, and customers don't have to trade another wearable to get the price cuts. But for trade-in customers, Samsung offers up to an additional $170 discount.
The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is the first Samsung smartwatch to have the “Pro” moniker, and true to its name, it benefits from a few extra fitness features and apps, as well as more battery life than the standard Watch 5. The Pro is the latest Samsung smartwatch and will continue to be until the company unveils the Galaxy Watch 6 series this summer, supposedly in late July. The Watch 6 series will ship with a new version of the One UI Watch operating system, but the Galaxy Watch 5 lineup will also benefit from this firmware update later in the year.
