While the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will go official in less than two months, Samsung isn't done making a big deal out of the Galaxy Z Flip 4, at least in Canada. At the MURAL street art festival that will soon kick off in Montreal, Samsung Canada will be handing out cash and device prizes to those who design the best Galaxy Z Flip 4 cases.
Yes, you read that right: Samsung is welcoming Canadians to enter the Flex Your Design contest and send in their personal Galaxy Z Flip 4 case designs. Interested users can download the Galaxy Z Flip 4 template from Samsung's website and open it in the design app they like to customize it from the comfort of their home.
They can also visit the MURAL Festival starting June 9 or the Samsung Experience Store in Toronto from June 16 and use the S Pen on the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra to design the case. At both venues Samsung will let contestants print out their designs on paper or a premium poster board that they can take home. Samsung will also be showing off the FlexCam feature on the Galaxy Z Flip 4, which allows you to take hands-free photos by folding the device halfway.
As for the prize, the top three winners will get a cheque for $2500 and a Galaxy prize pack that includes a Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Watch 5, and a Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. Winners would basically be getting a package that includes the latest and greatest in Samsung's foldable, smartwatch, and tablet lineups, though again, they will be replaced by their successors in a couple of months.
